WHO IS MANGINAH

Founded in 1994, Manginah is Brandeis University’s premier Jewish a cappella group. Partnered with Hillel, Manginah sings a mixture of Jewish, Israeli pop, and English songs. Our mission is to share our love of Jewish music with Jewish communities across the greater Boston and New England area. Following the release of their studio album Hakol (Everything) in September 2021, the group released a single, Katonti, which is now available on all streaming services.

IT'S SIMPLE. WE LOVE TO SING.

We believe song can be a powerful cultural connector that is certainly instrumental in the creation of our close-knit mishpacha. Music has been a central component of Jewish identity since the times of the Temple, and Manginah seeks to continue this tradition within the framework of our contemporary lives. Our members come from various Jewish communities and backgrounds across the country and we love to perform for people like you!
